Journey

into

Tibet

Prayer flags flutter

At Tibetan mountain passes, lakeshores, and temple eaves, multicolored prayer flags unfurl freely in the wind, fluttering wildly. The patches of blue, white, red, green, and yellow correspond to the sky's clarity, the clouds' purity, the flame's intensity, the green waters' vitality, and the earth's richness.

It is the Tibetan people's most devout tribute to nature.

The wind lifts the rice paper

A journey of prayer

In the wind that makes prayer flags flutter wildly, there's always a swirl of rice paper filling the sky.

That is the “wind horse paper” held in the hearts of Tibetans.

This is the most vibrant picture of faith in Tibet, embodying the unique blend of romance and devotion that belongs solely to this land.

Potala Palace

At Hongshan, where palaces rise, Sunlight falls upon the roof, A single thought ascends to the clouds.

The sunlight of Lhasa favors only the Potala atop Red Hill,

White walls seem to gather the purity of glaciers from the snowy realm,

The Red Palace holds the intensity of the plateau's setting sun,

Gilded roofs shimmer in the clear sky's radiance.

Each tiered structure holds a thousand years of tales

Each breeze carries devout prayers

This is the palace closest to heaven

And Tibet's gentlest sanctuary of faith

Pilgrim

In the sunlight of Mount Kailash

Prostrate in devotion, honoring a lifetime of faith

The wilderness stretches boundless, snow-capped peaks silent

As palms turn upward, the wind carries the pilgrims' heartbeats

Yak

The dark brown spine, the morning light of the snowy area

Step on the frost of the frozen soil and cross the waves of the grass,

It is a silent walker on the plateau.

Make the years go to the vastness

Don't compete with the eagle for height, and don't compete with Gesang for beauty.

Only a body of fluffy warmth

The wind that melts into Tibet, the cooking smoke of the Tibetan people

And the ancient gaze of the snowy mountains
